What is an academic transcript and when is it needed
An academic transcript is a special kind of marksheet that you collect directly from National University. It is mainly needed when applying abroad and is compulsory in most countries. Inside Bangladesh a marksheet is usually accepted.
At NU the marksheet and the transcript are two different documents. Foreign universities ask for a transcript because it lists every subject with its name, code and grade.
